Memos of MYCELIUM

Most of my inspiration comes from a sense of convergence. I have just started reading Emergent Strategies: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds at the suggestion of a good friend. A few months ago, my wife gleefully strolled through Grand Lake’s Farmer’s Market in Oakland searching for her mushroom guy. Then one night, we stumbled upon the Netflix documentary, Fantastic Fungi, and I surrendered to what the universe was trying to tell me. After several long years of grad school and caregiving, I am tired. Through all of this journey there is one remaining theme, I need other people. This simple lesson is in the deep science and symbolism of mycelium.
